i won't lie to you: DIY's are not easy. suffice it to say, i had a little episode which required some sandpaper and a fresh coat of paint to my fixture, which is now drying {again} in our kitchen. my pride is a little hurt, but i don't think my project will look any the worse for it. might even add some character.
