me?  well it certainly made me feel a lot better about things.  because i'm nervous!  excited, definitely - but nervous, absolutely.  and after reading this little gem, i feel a lot better about the next chapter ahead.

  1. Very good article! Don't be nervous, just know that you have a lot of figuring out to do. A lot of understanding to find. And go in with few expectations, so you aren't disappointed. I think the take away from the article (and what I liked) was be patient, be humble, and no matter how "prepared" you think you are, you have a lot of experiencing to do. Which is not to say that that info was a waste of time, or that you are "stupid". It will give you great ideas to try and see what works for you and your family. Unfortunately, the first child (as my mother called her) is the "experiment". You will have to try all kinds of things, and sometimes, you never know what will be the most beneficial or work the best. Good luck! You can do it :)

  2. oooh, i say 3 and 6 on that list are kinda huge!! every baby is so so so so so different. and so when you get that handy "advice" because people assume all babies have the same needs, you just nod and smile, nod and smile :) ;)
